Most often working from freshly picked or still in situ plant life, mainly uncultivated, the majority of my work starts out in my field sketch book.  Sketches of different plants from the same area are then combined into a fine liner drawing before adding paint.     I also enjoy combining materials and techniques so I may draw or paint onto a collaged substrate or a monoprint, collage with monoprints or print directly from plant material. 

As well as here in England my work is held in private collections in Australia, Ireland, Poland, Scotland, Sweden and USA

I am actively involved with Cambridge District Art Circle and am a member of Society of East Anglian Watercolourists.
