My work combines screen-printing and paint. I use watercolour, acrylic and oil, often combining them. An exhibition is a time to work on a series of paintings about a single preoccupation. Open Studios is a time for looking at mixture of work from past exhibitions and assessing the connections and the progress. For me a valuable exercise. The inspiration for the paintings mostly comes from a reaction to a sense of place. Some are representational landscapes. Most are a response of colour and shape. I have exhibited regularly in Cambridge and London and Oxford. I am a member of Neuf, an experimental film group and I will show short films in my studio.
