I work with collage and mixed media, exploring themes concerning landscape and the environment. Mixed media allows me to combine digital technology with the physicality of paint, creating multi-layered surfaces. Words and symbols in the form of collage, mark making or asemic writing are incorporated in the process as an aesthetic element rather than for literal meaning but reflecting our modern day landscape, especially in urban environments where nature grows alongside man-made signs, symbols and grafitti. I have a fascination for the juxtaposition of the graphic qualities of  digital imagery with the loose, unpredictable nature of painting and printmaking, creating new dimensions of unexpected colours and textures.

I studied Fine Art at Cambridge School of Art, graduating in 2012, since when I have continued with my art practice. My work can be seen on permanent display at Sandford House, (Wetherspoon's) in Huntingdon.
