Clay sculptures, acrylic and watercolour paintings
July Open Studios
I love creating bold, colourful images, in two or three dimensional forms. I find inspiration in the beauty of nature and the human body, and in the myths and legends of our ancestors. I offer affordable pieces, in the spirit of making art accessible to all.
My sculptures are made using air-drying clay which can then be painted with acrylic colours. I also paint a variety of natural subjects, such as animals and flowers, in a semi-abstract style using acrylic paints.
This is my first year participating in Cambridge Open Studios and I look forward to sharing my work and meeting you all in July, when exhibitions open. All welcome - come along, and be sure to visit the other friendly studios in Milton including Chris Thomas' microscope photography, Louise Thomas' patchwork, Jane Thomas' books and illustration, Alison Hullyer's illustrations, Cheryl Bird and Linda Bartlett's jewellery, Marnie Bird's landscape photography, Rhiannon Thomas' wire sculptures and drawings and my husband Richard Morgan's mosaics.
