Betka is an artist from Poland, who spent most of her life creating beautiful pieces of art and raising a family in Switzerland before moving to Cambridge in 2015. She has just opened her studio at the Cambridge Art Salon. Every design and color combination in her work is the product of finding art in ordinary sights, following a ray of light or catching a fleeting glimpse of movement. The everyday world is dense with inspiration; once inspired the only thing left is to tell the clay. Betka has developed over the years her own approach of transforming a hard piece of dirt into a soft, colorful and unique creation reflecting the beauty around us. She normally goes wherever her vision, mood and latest inspirations take her, but she also works on commissioned art pieces from time to time.
